This is an off the beaten path, a local favorite. So far as I could tell, they do not offer table service. Walk up to the counter, place your order, find a seat, and wait for your name & number to be called, then pick up your food at the counter. Here, it is all about the Po-Boys! It's a must try. We ordered a shrimp po-biy and a roast beef. My friend (a local) really enjoyed the shrimp po-boy. That's their regular order. I tried the roast beef po-boy. I liked it and would order again. It wasn't Sliced, it was shredded beef in gravy in a heavy that had a little tang to it. We sat outside, so I can not attest to the ambiance inside, but it was just a cheap table and chairs like that you might find at Costco. But, it's just that kind of place. It's nice inside and out, and there's nothing fancy about it. The bathroom was nice, clean, and maintained

I've been here before this place never disappoints. Food is hot and fresh and seasoned well. The ambiance is very Cajun inspired. The customer service is cool. Will always come back if I'm in the area

Definitely worth the drive or Uber. We got the fried shrimp poboy and we also got the James Brown poboy. My fave was the James Brown. The beef was tender and the shrimp was amazing. Plenty of seating... Inside and out. Ordering is straightforward too. You place your order at the window inside and then pick it up from the pick up window. Next time I'm in New Orleans, I'm stopping here again.

Hands down the best po boy I had while in Nola. Bread was light and fluffy inside, nice crispy crust not hard exterior. The absolutely stuffed them to the max. Simple ingredients but it was so flavorful. Def worth the hype!

Best Po Boy I had in New Orleans. I will have dreams about this place. Amazing food. Huge dining area outside as well as quite a few seats available inside as well. Friendly and awesome staff. The general manager Justin was great to talk to. I would recommend anyone going to New Orleans make this a must visit. I know I'll be back for another Po Boy soon enough.

Parkway Bakery & Tavern has maintained consistent reputation of making solid po boys. While my visit there, I found it to be a well oiled machine. Plenty of tables and a quaint old school style to-go ordering where you park your car outside these slots and order and wait for it to be delivered to your vehicle. The other option is to park on streets or in lot and dine in. You'll order at the window inside and wait for your number. Because it's very busy there, it's best that one person holds a table as the other orders. As a side note, I heard that the bar sitting area is reserved for those that ordered specifically from the bar and that it's best not to mix up the areas. The standard comes with mayo, tomato, lettuce etc. Since I'm such a bougie condiment person haha I really wanted it with Remoulade. You'll have to ask the kitchen vs. the person taking the order. I highly recommend their staple wild caught shrimp po boy or the oyster one. It's not greasy and perfectly flakey and crunchy. Great prices 15.49 for a foot long! Move over subway! ALL ARE GREAT!

Walk up to the counter, order some Po' Boys, sit down, eat, be happy. Our food was prepped really quick. Maybe 5 minutes after we sat down, our order was ready. My favorite Po' Boy on the whole trip was the Oyster Po' Boy from Parkway. Starts with a nice crusty roll that was fluffy on the inside. Insanely good fried oysters with the perfect amount of breading. Dressed with fresh veggies. Simple sandwich, but ingredients were top notch. We also got a James Brown Po' Boy with BBQ beef and fried shrimp. It's a tasty alternate to the normal fried seafood ones, but I still prefer the originals. Kind of lost the shrimp in here, so if I were to do this type of sandwich again, I'd probably go straight roast beef. Got half sweet potato and half normal fries. They do a great sweet potato fry here - normally I find them to be a bit on the soft side, but not here! The sandwiches here are massive. At lunch, I ate two half sandwiches, half an order of fries, and half a slaw. That got me through most of the day until a very late dinner.

There is nothing like a New Orleans Shrimp Po Boy. Service was the best I've received in a long time. Kudos to the entire staff I've encountered during our lunch dining experience: the Server (Eric), security, the manager, and the head chef. All were helpful and welcoming. I ordered a large "Shrimp Poor Boy" dressed without Mayo. My parents ordered the Catfish with a side of French Fries. Everything was seasoned perfectly, and the servings were so plentiful that I couldn't eat it all, so I ate it for dinner and breakfast the next day. They offer indoor and patio seating with a private parking lot. We truly enjoyed our lunch and will be back. Highly recommend!

This came at a recommendation from a tour we took of the city(NOLA). Great recommendation! I had the Wild Caught Gulf Shrimp Po'boy, small with homemade potato salad. The flavors were there, plenty of shrimps within the sandwich, a bit messy but none the less, great. The potato salad was a great side to compliment the sandwich. You do have the option to sit inside or outside. Inside seating is limited however the outside seating is plenty with all seats under shade with fans to cool you down if it's hot outside. They do have hot sauce on the tables if you want to spice up your sandwich. Parking is limited as you have to park on the side street. The service was okay. You order at the counter, give your name as they will call you when your food is ready at a different window. Whenever you visit New Orleans, definitely give this place a try. Happy eating!

The Surf and Turf poor boys was one of the dishes I want to try during my short visit to New Orleans. Shrimp and roast beef should complement each other greatly! The sandwich was huge, I could only finish half and ate the other half for dinner. The shrimp was delicious, lightly seasoned with a nice crisp texture. Roast beef was good, but not amazing due to lack of depth. I thought the roast beef flavor and texture overpowered the shrimp and did not mesh well together. The sandwich was good, but I personally prefer the shrimp by itself without the distraction. Overall, still a great spot to eat, just did not meet my high expectations going in.
